The Calgary Stampede might be over, but there’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy around the city. If you’re feeling a little lost after 10 days of rodeos, concerts, and late nights, Calgary has a lineup of events ready to keep the momentum going. Whether you’re looking for something to do with friends, a date night idea or a reason to spend more time outdoors, these Calgary events are worth adding to your Calendar.

Now let’s take a look at what’s going on in the city this week.

Kick off your week with some live soccer as the Cavalry FC takes on the Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Spruce Meadows. It’s the perfect excuse to swap your usual Monday night plans for a summer evening spent outside, surrounded by fans and cheering on Calgary’s home team.

Lukas Nelson is returning to Calgary’s Palace Theatre with the soulful sound that has made him a standout in country and rock music. The singer-songwriter is known as the frontman of Promise of the Real and for his Grammy-winning work on A Star is Born.
