Iconic '70s Sitcom House Now Open to the Public After Receiving Historic Honor

16 July 20262 Mins Read

Everyone has that one show they remember from their childhood. Even if decades have flown by, hearing the intro jingle can instantly transport you back — and suddenly you’re quoting every line.

One show from the ’70s has stood the test of time as a television icon, forever linked with the unforgettable “pork chops and applesauce” line and the instantly recognizable house that welcomed viewers each week: The Brady Bunch.

It may seem random, but former NSYNC star Lance Bass nearly became the home’s owner before HGTV swooped in, ultimately restoring it to match the beloved sitcom set for A Very Brady Renovation.

Now, after being designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, the famous Studio City abode has embraced its Hollywood legacy like never before by opening its doors for a limited time.

Step Back In Time On Your Next California Getaway

Good news! The Brady Bunch house was slated to end tours July 17 after initially offering public tours in May, but has since been extended through October 11.

The Brady Experience can be booked on BucketListers for an ‘exclusive’ visit.

Here is what visitors can expect for the limited-time tour:

  • Walk through the fully restored Brady home, including recreated spaces like the iconic living room, kitchen, kids’ bedrooms, staircase, and backyard featured in A Very Brady Renovation.
  • Browse an exhibit of Brady memorabilia, including original props, costumes, behind-the-scenes photos, and other keepsakes celebrating the sitcom’s legacy.
  • Take your time exploring and snapping photos during the self-guided tour, with plenty of opportunities to capture memorable moments from the show inside one of television’s most renowned family homes.

Sadly, cast members Florence Henderson, Robert Reed, and Ann B. Davis have passed away, but the memories they created on living room screens across the country still feel tangible.

In typical California fashion, guests can expect to fork over a hefty wad of cash.

‘Semi-private’ self-guided tour tickets cost $289.75 per person.
