Some fly a little under the radar, despite offering exactly the kind of ridiculous multiplayer fun that makes these games so easy to love. What is First Class Trouble about?
First Class Trouble takes place aboard a luxurious intergalactic cruise ship where a group of passengers are trying to survive a disaster — and figure out which of their fellow travelers can’t be trusted. Players take on the role of either Residents or Personoids, with both sides having very different ideas about how the voyage should end. The result is a social-deduction game where cooperation is essential, but trusting the wrong person can quickly turn a relaxing cruise into a complete disaster.
Players have to explore the ship, complete objectives and collect information while keeping an eye on everyone around them. Residents need to work together to identify the Personoids hiding among them, while the Personoids can lie, sabotage, and quietly eliminate anyone getting too close to the truth. Proximity voice chat adds another layer of paranoia, letting you whisper plans to your allies or make your case when someone inevitably accuses you of being a traitor.
You can play with between four and 12 players in custom games, making First Class Trouble an easy one to throw into the rotation when you’ve got a bigger group looking for something new.
