Hilton has signed DoubleTree by Hilton Parramatta, a 100-room hotel planned for 34 Hassall Street in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia.

The hotel will be developed under a franchise agreement with Deicorp Group and operated by Trilogy Hotels. It will be part of Deicorp’s Cosmopolitan mixed-use development, which will include hotel, residential, commercial and retail components.

The signing will introduce Hilton to the Parramatta market and form part of the company’s Greater Sydney pipeline.

DoubleTree by Hilton Parramatta will be located next to the Robin Thomas light rail stop, with access to Parramatta Railway Station, Parramatta Wharf, Parramatta Square, Westmead Health Precinct and Western Sydney University.

Guest rooms will range from 20 to 45 square metres. Planned facilities include an all-day dining restaurant and lounge, fitness and wellness facilities, and 667 square metres of event space, including meeting rooms, a boardroom and pre-function areas.

Parramatta has recorded population growth and public transportation investment, with corporate, government, education, health and leisure travel contributing to demand in the area.

Trilogy Hotels and Deicorp have worked together on other mixed-use hotel projects.
