Toronto’s new cave-themed rooftop restaurant serving burrata in the clouds, Canada Reviews

11 September 20262 Mins Read

You no longer need to haul yourself to King West or book a flight to Quintana Roo for a grand night out. Perched high above the northwest corner of the GTA, Koré Rooftop is bringing major resort energy to the city with warm stone textures, open-air vibes and private dining igloos designed for full-scale group celebrations.

The venue doubles down on atmosphere, from dedicated scent systems pumping through the elevators to dramatic tableside cocktail presentations that literally burst into flames. But behind the theatrical drinks and golden-hour lighting  at Koré, lies a talented kitchen that cleverly presents modern Indian flavours and global twists.

Start with street-food staples elevated for the skyline: crisp Palak Patta Chaat drizzled with tangy chutneys, sweet-and-smoky Tandoori Pineapple, or Calcutta-style Chilli Paneer tossed with peppers and aromatics. Non-vegetarians can go straight for the rich, silky Chicken Reshmi Kebab or a showstopping Tandoori Rack of Lamb roasted hot in the tandoor.

The menu at Koré bridges standard territory with clever mashups, like a rich Burrata Saag Paneer that swaps routine fresh cheese for a creamy, decadent center. Larger plates run the gamut from slow-cooked Goat Rogan Josh to tender Chicken Changezi, best scooped up with ultra-thin Roomali Roti or flaky Lachha Paratha. If you want to embrace the fun fusion side of the menu, there is even a white sauce Gnocchi and a rose-sauce Cannelloni packed with spiced minced chicken.

Koré’s private rooftop domes

When it comes to celebrations, this is where Koré really shines. Booking one of their rooftop domes unlocks tier-based party packages stocked with rose petals, private Bluetooth speakers, champagne service and red-carpet entrances. Finish the night with Rasmalai Tres Leches or a Biscoff Cheesecake before heading back down to earth.

Koré Rooftop is opening soon at 6628 Finch Ave W in Etobicoke. Domes and tables can be reserved online through their website.
