MGM Shenzhen Prince Bay is located at Prince Bay in Shekou, Nanshan, near the Shekou Cruise Home Port. The property sits at the maritime gateway of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area and connects to the cruise port within a 60-minute connectivity circle linking major cities in the region.

The hotel is within a cultural precinct that includes K11 ECOAST and the Sea World Culture and Arts Center. The opening expands MGM Hospitality Group (Asia Pacific)’s presence in the Greater Bay Area.

GP Architects and LTW Designworks designed the property based on a waterfront garden concept, with references to the Prince Bay shoreline and cruise-port heritage. Features include a lobby water feature, a sky-level art installation and a cantilevered tower crown designed to resemble a cruise deck.

The hotel has 298 ocean-view guest rooms and suites ranging from 50 to 364 square metres. Room categories include 270-degree panoramic sea-view rooms, terrace suites, sky suites and a presidential suite. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, intelligent in-room systems, bedding, bath amenities and art installations.

Five dining venues are located at the hotel: Yu Hoi Heen Chinese Restaurant, MEET PLUS Yunnan-Guizhou-Sichuan Restaurant, Festival All-Day Dining, The PURPLE Rooftop Sky Bar and the Lobby Lounge. The venues offer Chinese, Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan cuisine, all-day dining, rooftop bar service and lounge service. Dining settings include private dining, social gatherings, business entertaining and family celebrations.

The property includes more than 3,000 square metres of meeting and banqueting space. Its facilities include a 420-square-metre foyer with floor-to-ceiling windows and harbour views, an 800-square-metre terrace, meeting rooms, boardrooms and VIP lounges. The terrace is available for outdoor weddings and cocktail receptions.

A fitness center and heated swimming pool overlook the urban harbour. The fitness center has Technogym cardiovascular and strength-training equipment and an aerobic studio for group classes, yoga and body conditioning.
