Goeun Lee has been named resort manager at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, effective September 1, 2026.
Lee’s appointment returns her to Four Seasons and to Indonesia, where she attended Surabaya Intercultural School before completing a bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant and travel administration in the U.S. She has considered Indonesia her second home since her school years.
Lee previously spent almost a decade at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, advancing from learning manager to director of rooms and director of people and culture. During her tenure, the hotel received its first Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating, which it retained for six consecutive years.
Her work at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul also included guiding teams through the pandemic, raising employee engagement to a 10-year high and halving staff turnover.
Most recently, Lee was general manager of Haevichi Hotel & Resort Jeju in Korea, adding island resort management to her 25-year international career.
As resort manager, Lee will work with General Manager Didier Jardin and the resort’s leadership team on resort operations, guest experience and talent development.
Lee is expected to relocate to Bali for the position. Her daughters, Leah and Yuna, are expected to join her later this year.
