As your ruling planet Mercury is overshadowed by Saturn on your birthday you must be careful what you allow yourself to believe. What other people call “facts” won’t always be as clear-cut as you would like them to be, so always check them for yourself.
ARIES (March 21 – April 20):
You need to make a special effort to get along with some of the people you work with. You may have your disagreements but you are still on the same side and will need each other’s assistance today, so push past your differences.
TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):
There is still time to do something amazing before the sun leaves the most dynamic area of your chart but you must be quick. Don’t listen to people who say you need to play safe — listen to and act on what your inner voice tells you.
GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):
Go where your instincts take you over the next 24 hours and ignore that nagging voice in the back of your head that says you are aiming too high. If anything you are not aiming high enough, so unfurl those Gemini wings and fly!
CANCER (June 22 – July 23):
As one of the zodiac’s water signs you tend to follow your heart rather than your head and that is exactly the right thing to do. With mind planet Mercury under cosmic pressure this is one of those occasions when logical thinking won’t do you much good.
LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):
You may be a leader by nature but today you will have to follow someone whose abilities you know nothing about. Do what they ask of you but make sure you stay sharp because there may come a moment when you have to cut ties.
VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):
If someone comes to you for assistance today you will of course help them, but if they are the architect of their own misfortune you must make it clear to them there won’t be a second time. Have no sympathy for people who don’t learn from mistakes.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):
Mercury in your sign is at odds with Saturn today, which among other things suggests that partners and colleagues may be rather negative about your ideas. Don’t make an issue of it though because by early next week their opinions will no longer matter.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
What is right for you may not be right for someone else, and if you keep that fact in mind today you should be able to avoid falling out with a friend or coworker. The world is a big enough place to experiment with all sorts of approaches.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):
If you do something controversial for the fun of it today you could find even your friends saying you have gone too far. It’s one thing to have a good sense of humor but some subjects require a more subtle approach, or even avoided altogether.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):
Don’t worry if the powers that be deal a blow to your ambitions today because what they deny you now you will be able to get for yourself in a matter of days. Be patient and wait for the hands of the cosmic clock to move on.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
If you feel that your energy is running low then give yourself a well-deserved break. You will be back to your best, physically and mentally, when the sun moves in your favour on Tuesday, so take it easy today and over the weekend.
PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):
Be good to yourself over the next few days because when the sun changes signs on the 22nd the tempo of life will quicken and you will have to make important decisions not just for yourself but for other people as well. Stay fresh.
