Mike Myers is making his stance clear with his latest fashion choice.
The Austin Powers star shared a series of photos on Instagram on Saturday, October 3, from a night of live music in New York City, but it was the message across his shirt that quickly got people talking.
In one photo, Myers posed alongside TV on the Radio frontman Tunde Adebimpe while wearing a black shirt emblazoned with the words “FIGHT FASCISM” across the front. Other shots showed the actor enjoying the concert at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens the day before and posing in front of the stage.
Myers appeared to have a blast at the show, which featured The Strokes, TV on the Radio, Beach House, and Fcukers.
“🙌NOT WORTHY 🙌,” Myers began his Instagram caption before thanking TV on the Radio and Adebimpe for having him.

He also gave shoutouts to Beach House and The Strokes, writing that the latter were “🔥🔥🔥.” Myers noted that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders made a surprise appearance to introduce The Strokes, before ending his post with the hashtags “#voteinnovember” and “#fightfascism.”
“What a stupid shirt 😂,” one person declared in the comments.
“Come on mike!!! Not you too,” another said.
“Love your acting Mike but respectfully disagree with your political beliefs,” a third noted.
Others were fans of the shirt choice, however.
“This is what I’m talking about Mike! ❤️,” another replied.
Another stated, “I love that shirt🐐.”
Myers has become increasingly outspoken about political issues in recent years. The Canadian actor made headlines in March 2025 when he appeared on Saturday Night Live wearing a “Canada Is Not for Sale” shirt, a response to President Donald Trump’s repeated comments about Canada becoming the 51st U.S. state.
He later appeared alongside Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in a campaign ad ahead of Canada’s 2025 federal election.
Myers wasn’t the only person at the Queens show mixing music and politics. Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders addressed the crowd before The Strokes took the stage, with Sanders urging attendees to vote in November while speaking about issues including economic inequality, racism, health care, and authoritarianism.
