Edmonton has more than a few exciting things to do this week, and we’ve rounded a bunch of them together for the ultimate weekly guide.

October is bringing a load of great fall events and activities into the city, including festivals, haunt experiences, mazes, and more. For our weekly round-up of things to do, we’ve also got a few year-round activities like concerts and comedy nights to round it all out.

If you’re looking for the next experience with friends, family, or a special loved one, look no further — we’ve got you covered.

Rubaboo is a multi-disciplinary Indigenous arts festival that celebrates vibrant artistic expression, ranging from theatre and music to dance, visual art, food, and hands-on workshops. Here, new works come to life, offering audiences a rare chance to experience artistic creations as they take shape.

When: Now until Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026

This corn maze sits west of Edmonton and features outdoorsy, family-friendly fun from August to October. Complete with farm animals, spud gun launches, mini golf, a popular sunflower stroll, photo opportunities, and a pumpkin patch coming this fall, this experience truly offers it all.

When: Now until Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday; 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays

Pumpkins After Dark is back for more Halloween madness, and this year, it’s rebuilt the experience for the most immersive, memorable, and magical season yet. This upcoming weekend will be its first time operating in Edmonton in 2026.

When: Now until Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026
Time: 6:30 to 11 p.m.
Where: Borden Park — 7507 Borden Park Rd. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

If you aren’t familiar, Deadmonton is easily one of the creepiest, scariest, and most exciting haunted houses in Edmonton during Halloween season. With three new haunts ready for your arrival, you’re going to have your socks absolutely knocked off. Invite some friends, grab your coat, and get ready for the thrill of a lifetime.

When: Now until Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026

Where: 9300 47th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Every week on Wednesdays, The Grindstone hosts one of Edmonton’s only stand-up comedy open mic nights. Open to both first-timers and seasoned comics, each set is five minutes for some good laughs.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026
Time: 10 p.m. to midnight
Where: Grindstone Theatre — 10019 81st Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

This massive rodeo in Edmonton is Canada’s own national championship professional rodeo, not to mention the final premier event of the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA). Here, you’ll be able to watch rodeo athletes compete in things like barrel racing and bareback riding, or you can take advantage of the daily country expo, including the trade show and a load of free Western events.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 7, to Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026

124th Grand Market takes over the streets on Thursdays. Each week, there is a selection of over 60 rotating vendors with fresh produce, handmade goods, and trinkets, as well as food trucks that are going to satisfy your taste buds in every way.

When: Every Thursday now until Oct. 18, 2026
Time: 4 to 8 p.m.
Where: 108th Avenue and 124th Street, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

All aboard the High-Level Streetcar for the Street Car Cask series, where folks hop aboard the historic streetcar and take sips from exclusive brews — made just for these trips. As you experience a scenic ride above Edmonton, you’ll be able to enjoy the brews from Alberta’s finest.

When: Every Thursday until Oct. 22, 2026
Time: 6 p.m.

Get ready for an unforgettable night of laughs at The Grindstone Theatre!

This improv night is an evening of top-tier comedy featuring the city’s best improvisers, performing hilarious, unscripted scenes based on your wildest suggestions.

Time: 7 to 8 p.m.
Where: Grindstone Theatre — 10019 81st Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Watch this popular family-friendly movie on the big screen, joined by a live orchestra playing the familiar tunes you know and love.
