We’ve rounded up some of the coolest ghost tours and paranormal investigations to check out in Alberta, ranging from haunted historic manors to coal mine ventures. If you’re looking to get yourself closer to the paranormal and learn more about the history of the province, these tours are definitely going to scratch that itch.

Mystic Manor is a historic home in High River where you’re able to explore its allegedly haunted rooms, hear stories behind the house, and even take part in a paranormal investigation.

There are three types of tours offered currently, namely The Tour, The Basement Experience, and The Seance, with The Flashlight Tour coming soon. Each tour offers a different immersive experience in the same paranormal house.

When: Open year-round
Time: Varies
Where: 410 5th St. SE, High River, Alta.
Cost: Varies based on tour

Edmonton Ghost Tours host tours at locations all across the city throughout the year. During these experiences, they tell the stories of local hauntings, murders, and mysteries.

For this Halloween season, the organization has four ghost tours running on various dates, including:

When: Open year-round

These ghost tours operate in both Banff and Canmore. During the walks, you’re able to explore these Albertan towns and learn more about the haunting stories and decades of history that surround you.

This year, the two options include the 1885 Street Venture or the Fort Featured Investigation, which takes you through the impressive Rowand House.
