Holland America Line has opened bookings for five newly added Oosterdam voyages in the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Caribbean. The itineraries are scheduled to begin after the ship’s drydock in Marseille, France, and its return to service on Oct. 31, 2027.
The first post-modernization sailing is the 10-Day Adriatic Antiquities itinerary, departing Oct. 31, 2027, from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Trieste, Italy. The voyage includes destinations in Italy, Greece, Montenegro and Croatia, including Pompeii and Sicily, Corfu, the Bay of Kotor and Croatia’s Adriatic coast.
Four subsequent voyages will move Oosterdam from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. The 11-Day Adriatic Antiquities: Croatia, Greek Isles & Istanbul itinerary departs Nov. 10, 2027, from Trieste to Piraeus (Athens), Greece. The 7-Day Mediterranean Splendor: Greek Isles & Malta voyage departs Nov. 21, 2027, from Piraeus to Barcelona, Spain.
Oosterdam will then depart Barcelona on Nov. 28, 2027, for the 13-Day Cultural Crossing: Spain & Gibraltar itinerary to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. An 11-Day Caribbean Cruise will depart Dec. 11, 2027, on a roundtrip itinerary from Fort Lauderdale.
Oosterdam’s Evolution modernization was moved up from its previously scheduled date. Holland America Evolution is a multiyear fleet modernization program.
The Oosterdam work will include new stateroom and suite categories: purpose-built Solo Verandahs, forward-facing Bridgeview Suites, Vista Suites and a reimagined Pinnacle Suite.
The ship will also add a Grand Dutch Café and a redesigned Ocean Bar. Accommodations and public spaces will be refreshed as part of the modernization.
The program is intended to bring features from Pinnacle Class ships to additional vessels. Oosterdam will be the first ship to emerge from the Holland America Evolution program.
