Anna Johnston, who is well known for her appearance on TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons, was arrested in Georgia on October 10 on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, as shown in the jail records.
The 26-year-old reality television personality was set free the next day having posted a bond of $1,563. This arrest occurred while Johnston is still estranged from her family and has stopped appearing on the show.
As reported in an arrest report secured by The US Sun, the officers noticed a car parked by a highway in Georgia. Inside the car were Johnston and her boyfriend, Jeffrey Messervy, as well as his cousin. The officer saw Messervy outside the vehicle on the phone, putting through a call to arrange a ride so that Johnston would not have to drive again.

“At the time of my arrival, he was on the phone with a friend asking them to come pick the three of them up so that Anna would not have to drive any further,” the officer wrote in the incident report.
According to police, Messervy said that he was worried Johnston had been driving after having drunk alcohol; the report adds that Johnston claimed the argument was about directions. It was noted that Johnston seemed to be speaking with slurred speech and was unsteady when walking. The report also mentioned the smell of alcohol.
“While continuing to speak with Anna, as the rainfall began to stop, I noticed the odor of alcohol emitting from Anna’s person,” the officer claimed.
Following the administration of a field sobriety test, the preliminary breath test showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.139. The legal limit for most drivers in Georgia is 0.08. Johnston was later arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. The reality TV star smiled for her mugshot when she was booked into jail.

Messervy was also arrested as a result of the incident when it was reported that officers had found a warrant from another county that was still outstanding. This arrest was separate from the DUI case involving Johnston, and as per a report in The US Sun, he is being held on a $47,350 bond in the Bibb County Jail. Johnston has not made any public comment regarding her arrest.
Johnston is the daughter of Amber and Trent Johnston, and their family life has been featured on TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons. She has been away from the reality TV series due to her difficult relationship with her parents and siblings.
