Taylor Swift knows how to make an entrance, but her latest appearance came with a particularly jaw-dropping price tag. The superstar celebrated a historic career milestone this week wearing a diamond necklace worth $2.4 million and its size was just as extraordinary as its price.
Swift, 36, became the youngest person ever inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. The ceremony was already a special occasion for the singer, whose songwriting career began in Nashville, but her jewelry nearly stole the show.
Swift wore a custom-made Leviev Divine diamond choker featuring approximately 65 carats of pear-shaped diamonds. The necklace alone was valued at $2.4 million. And she didn’t stop there.
The singer paired the spectacular piece with matching pear-shaped diamond earrings weighing 6.25 carats, reportedly worth another $128,000. Together, the jewelry was valued at more than $2.5 million.
Swift completed the look with a burgundy velvet minidress by Raisa Vanessa, featuring colorful floral embroidery, and purple heels with sparkling crystal details. She wore her shoulder-length hair half-up, leaving her signature bangs in place.
But the evening wasn’t just about diamonds. As Town & Country reported, Swift used her acceptance speech to reflect on the city where her career began and the songwriters who helped shape her musical identity. She credited the foundations she learned in Nashville with giving her the confidence to explore different genres and collaborate with artists throughout her career.
Still, Swift’s most meaningful accessory that night might have been the Hall of Fame honor itself. Two decades after releasing her debut album, the singer returned to Nashville to celebrate the songwriting talent that started it all.
