Western Canada’s largest Christmas store is now open for the season in Metro Vancouver

2 November 20263 Mins Read

For 22 years, Surrey’s local gardening centre, Potters Nursery, has transformed into the ultimate holiday shopping experience. Now considered the largest Christmas store in Western Canada, the festive shop is now open for the season, complete with 28,000 square feet of winter wonderland magic.

Open through Christmas Eve, the holiday experience features new Christmas Traditions displays inspired by European holiday traditions. Thousands of crystals and shining lights adorn red, green, and white Christmas trees throughout the store, leading shoppers through an enchanted forest.

Polar bears, bears, deer, owls, and rabbits are dotted throughout Potters to add to the scenery.

Holiday lights, electric trains, and more

The 3,000-square-foot Dark Room has tons of holiday lights to discover, including over 40 designs of nightlights, an extensive selection of Christmas-themed water lanterns, and LED Infinity Lights that create the illusion of two-way mirrors. If you’re looking to host the ultimate holiday party this year, this is your one-stop shop for finding everything you need and more.

A newly expanded Train Town awaits visitors, with an electric train emerging from the wall and travelling through a mini village filled with houses, shops, and moving carousels. It’s a place where your inner child can be fully unleashed!

The miniature village includes Canada’s largest selection of whimsical mouse decor.

You’ll also find more than 50 styles of Christmas stockings, traditional toys and puzzles, festive games, and hand-picked ornaments.

And if you’re looking for specific gifts, not to worry. There are designated men’s and women’s shopping sections filled with apparel options.

There’s even a gourmet food section with unique finds like Potters’ best-selling bacon and dill pickle ketchup, more than 40 flavours of hot chocolate, and special jellies from Krause Berry Farms and The Preservatory.

Squishie Headquarters is your spot for trendy squeezable toys, with over 50 designs to choose from.

Finally, there’s a Coca-Cola display with authentic 1950s diner-inspired decor, as well as branded ornaments and collectibles.

There’s truly something for everyone here!

When is the store open?

Now open daily through Dec. 24, Potters’ festive store will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and until 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays.

When: Open daily until Dec. 24, 2025
Time: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and until 7 p.m. from Wednesday to Friday
Where: 19158 48th Ave., Surrey
