‘Tournament of Champions’ Star Announces New Culinary Adventure for 2027

4 November 20263 Mins Read

Food Network fans who have watched Crista Luedtke compete on Guy’s Grocery Games and Tournament of Champions will soon have an opportunity to experience her culinary expertise in a completely different setting.

The celebrated chef and restaurateur is heading to sea in 2027 as part of Atlas Ocean Voyages’ Epicurean Expeditions program, joining a lineup of chefs and culinary experts who will lead cooking demonstrations, tastings and other food-focused experiences aboard the company’s luxury yachts.

Luedtke will make her debut with the cruise line on April 15, 2027, sailing aboard World Traveller for an eight-night journey from Las Palmas in the Canary Islands to Málaga, Spain.

Crista Luedtke Is Bringing Her Culinary Talents to the High Seas

Luedtke, who became the first-ever Triple G Grand Champion on Guy Fieri’s Guy’s Grocery Games, has also competed on Tournament of Champions and appeared as a judge on Food Network.

Known for her creative approach to cooking and emphasis on seasonal ingredients, Luedtke will explore the culinary traditions of the Canary Islands, Morocco and southern Spain during the expedition.

The itinerary highlights everything from Moroccan spice markets and traditional cooking techniques to Andalusian olive oils, fresh seafood and Mediterranean produce.

According to Atlas Ocean Voyages, guests will have opportunities to interact with visiting chefs through cooking demonstrations, tastings, discussions and the company’s Yachtsman Cook-Off competition.

“Our Epicurean Expeditions celebrate the connection between cuisine, culture and discovery,” said James A. Rodriguez, president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages, in an Oct. 29 announcement.

“Crista Luedtke brings a passion for seasonal ingredients and the relationship between food and place, while Anthony Giglio has an extraordinary ability to make wine approachable through the stories of the people and regions behind every bottle,” he continued.

More Food Network Stars Are Joining the 2027 Lineup

Luedtke isn’t the only familiar television chef participating in the 2027 program.

Bobby Marcotte, another Guy’s Grocery Games champion and Tournament of Champions competitor, will return for a nine-night voyage aboard World Voyager departing Seville, Spain, on April 16 and ending in Casablanca, Morocco.

Marcotte, known for his work with restaurants including The Tuckaway Tavern & Butchery, will explore the culinary traditions of Andalusia and Morocco, including Spanish tapas, grilled meats and Moroccan spice blends.

Other returning chefs include Massimo Capra, who has appeared on Restaurant Makeover and Chopped Canada, and Ippy Aiona, a former Food Network Star finalist.

The lineup also features Martin Gimenez Castro, the first winner of Top Chef Poland, along with pastry chef Anna Wilamowska and cacao expert Julieta Davey. Newcomer Giglio, a longtime Food & Wine contributing editor and author, will lead wine-focused experiences during an August 20 voyage from Livorno, Italy, to Dubrovnik, Croatia.

‘What to Know About the 2027 Epicurean Expeditions’

Atlas Ocean Voyages’ 2027 culinary program will take place aboard three ships: World Traveller, World Navigator and World Voyager. Each yacht accommodates fewer than 200 guests, allowing for smaller-group experiences and opportunities to engage with visiting culinary professionals.

The voyages are designed to connect local food traditions with the destinations guests visit, combining excursions to markets, vineyards and culinary landmarks with onboard demonstrations and tastings.

Luedtke’s April 15 departure will be her first appearance with Atlas Ocean Voyages, while several other participating chefs are returning for multiple sailings. Additional information about the 2027 Epicurean Expeditions, including itineraries and reservations, is available at Atlas Ocean Voyages.
