North Vancouver’s famous suspension bridge will soon come alive with millions of holiday lights

5 November 20263 Mins Read

It won’t be long before North Vancouver’s world-famous suspension bridge lights up for the holiday season once again. Now celebrating 20 years, Canyon Lights is a beloved annual tradition that illuminates the park and breathtaking suspension bridge with millions of shining lights, which will extend to brand-new displays this year.

We can’t think of anything more quintessential to the holiday season than strolling across the glowing bridge, suspended high above the forest floor!

From Nov. 20, 2026, to Jan. 10, 2027, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park will come alive with the magic of the season. The magical 3D wildlife projection is making a comeback in a new location, featuring even more detailed animation to create the ultimate rainforest display.

Light Storm is a brand-new, immersive installation that transforms the Cliffwalk Gardens into a spectacle of light, movement, and wonder. Guests can expect to find a giant, glowing moon, cascading rain-like light, and an illuminated chandelier glistening across the water.

The iconic suspension bridge will soon be lit up with festive colours once again, set against the backdrop of the stunning North Vancouver forest. The Pond of Many Moons also returns to the Park’s large pond, shimmering like a snow globe.

Children of all ages can once again embark on a whimsical adventure with the Rainforest Explorer, collecting stickers around the Park. They can also create a unique gingerbread-themed craft.

And of course, you can take every opportunity you want to snap a festive family photo, with plenty of opportunities throughout the Park.

Aside from the lights, guests can enjoy live entertainment, raise a cup of mulled wine or eggnog, cozy up at The Cliffhouse Restaurant and Bar, and find gifts at the Trading Post Gift Store.

How much is admission to Canyon Lights?

Tickets are priced at $76.95 per adult, $71.95 per senior (65+), $65.95 per student (18+), $49.95 for youth (13-17), and $29.95 for children (6-12). Partial proceeds of each ticket will once again go towards the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Tickets are available for purchase online.

When will Canyon Lights operate this year?

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with the last entry at 9 p.m.

Note that the Park will be closed on Dec. 25, 2026.

When: Nov. 20, 2026, to Jan. 10, 2027
Time: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: 3735 Capilano Rd., North Vancouver
Cost: $76.95 per adult
