A Netflix pop-up is taking over downtown Calgary with immersive fan experiences

22 June 20263 Mins Read

A Netflix House Party Pop-Up is coming to Calgary during the opening weekend of Stampede, turning downtown into a themed space inspired by the platform’s biggest shows.

The one-day event invites fans of all ages to step into recognizable worlds from Netflix favourites through interactive setups and themed installations. Each space is designed to bring a different show to life in a way that feels instantly familiar.

So whether you’re stopping by between Stampede events or making a dedicated trip downtown, it’s designed to be an easy, fun way to spend part of the day.

Step inside Netflix’s biggest shows

From the eerie hallways of Wednesday to the nostalgic world of Stranger Things, the experience is designed to transport visitors directly into the worlds they’ve binged-watched at home. According to Netflix, visitors can also expect spaces inspired by Bridgerton and K-pop Demon Hunters, each featuring setups that are perfect for photos and shareable content.

The pop-up runs on Saturday, July 5, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m at The Princeton in downtown Calgary. And the best part? It’s completely free to visit!

To help keep the experience running smoothly, guests are required to select a time slot online. You’ll have 60 minutes to move through the space, check out all of the themed areas, take photos, and walk through different Netflix worlds along the way.

While admission is free, spots are expected to fill up extremely quickly, given the popularity of the featured shows. If spots fill up, a limited number of walk-up tickets will be available each hour, depending on capacity.

And with The Princeton located right in the heart of downtown Calgary, it’s a convenient add-on if you’re already out exploring Stampede events or anything else happening in the area.

So if you’re an avid TV watcher, the Netflix House Party Pop-Up is a great way to experience some of your favourite shows off the big screen and in real life. It doesn’t take long to explore, yet you’ll leave with plenty of memories thanks to all the fun little details throughout the space.

When: Sunday, July 5, 2026
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: The Princeton – 1202 1st St. SW, Calgary, Alta.
Cost: Free
