Take the Magic Bean for a ride!

Soft soil and Magic Beans go hand-in-hand in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. You can place a bug onto soft soil, and a Gold Skulltula will pop out. But, you can also plant a Magic Bean into it as young Link, and return to it in the future to go on a whimsical journey and find some secret goodies, like Gold Skulltulas and Pieces of Heart.

However, soft soil isn’t marked on your in-game map, so they can be a bit difficult to find and keep track of. Luckily, we’ve listed where you can find every pile of soft soil in Ocarina of Time remake, and what you can find after riding the Magic Bean plant.

You can purchase Magic Beans as young Link from the Bean Seller at Zora River. The first Magic Bean that he’ll sell you will cost 10 rupees, and every subsequent purchase will cost 10 more rupees. You can purchase up to 10 Magic Beans, which will cost a total of 550 rupees.
