Arknights: Endfield‘s “Homecoming” update is the fourth patch the game is seeing, adding more story and areas to explore. This patch adds two new playable characters, two regions to explore, and the usual slurry of events and combat trials.

What time does Arknights: Endfield’s ‘Homecoming’ update release in your time zone?
Arknights: Endfield will go down for maintenance on Wednesday, July 15 at 6 p.m. EDT. It’ll be down for maintenance for six hours.
Here’s what the maintenance times look like for the rest of the world:
- 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, July 15 for the west coast of North America
- 6 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 15 to 12 a.m. EDT on Thursday, July 16 for the east coast of North America
- 7 p.m. BRT on Wednesday, July 15 to 1 a.m. BRT on Thursday, July 16 for Brazil
- 11 p.m. BST on Wednesday, July 15 to 5 a.m. BST on Thursday, July 16 for the United Kingdom
- 12 a.m. CEST to 6 a.m. CEST on Thursday, July 16 for western Europe
- 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. JST on Thursday, July 16 for Japan

Make sure you finish all the events you were planning on doing before the game goes down for maintenance. As usual, new events, gacha banners, and battle pass tracks will show up once the game is done updating.
What to expect in Arknights: Endfield’s ‘Homecoming’ update
This update adds two playable characters. Arcane is a caster who uses floating weapony and her banner will run in the first half of the patch. Liino is a supporter who will run starting on Aug. 9.
There’ll also be a good handful of quality-of-life updates, like the ability to transmute high-tier materials into lower-tier ones, additional ways to craft gear, and changes to how those expensive decorations (like chubby Lungs) are stored. Of course, the AIC is also getting updates, with the introduction of gas and an extension of potential conduit distance. Yippee!
