Ashore Oceanfront Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland, has joined the Marriott Bonvoy rewards program. Guests can now book stays at the hotel through Marriott.com, and Marriott Bonvoy members are eligible to earn and redeem loyalty points at the property. Ashore Oceanfront Hotel will join Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio in the coming months. The hotel is offering 3,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points per night for stays on any day of the week through the end of the year.
Located at 10100 Coastal Highway, the property features 250 renovated guest rooms and suites, including 15 multi-room suites. All guest rooms offer private balconies with water views, 55-inch flatscreen televisions, high-speed Wi-Fi, coffee makers, mini-fridges, and contemporary bathrooms with white quartz countertops and oversized mirrors with dimmable backlighting. In-room amenities include a custom line of beauty products in eco-friendly packaging.
The hotel underwent substantial renovations, including upgrades to event and banquet spaces, the lobby check-in area, café, fitness center, and other guest-facing areas as part of the Marriott affiliation. The property offers 14 meeting rooms totaling 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor flexible function space. The Ballroom has 7,500 square feet and can accommodate up to 1,000 people. Event venues include the Waterfront Beach Pavilion, The Shore Deck, and two oversized Ballrooms. Event packages include discounted room rates, guest amenities, complimentary menu tastings, and suite upgrades for newlyweds.
Dining options at the hotel include five venues: Tide Room, which received Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence in 2025 and was recognized in Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards; Wahoo Beach Bar, located on the sand and featuring live music and a cocktail menu; The Shore Deck, a 3,000-square-foot deck and event space overlooking the dunes and ocean; The Taproom, an indoor tavern serving local brews and cocktails with sports entertainment; and Ashore Things, a café offering coffee and grab-and-go items.
The hotel provides beachside food and beverage service, custom beach umbrellas and lounge chairs, an outdoor pool, and firepits with Adirondack chairs. Guests can order food and drinks from their beach chairs. Additional amenities include a fitness center, surfing lessons, fishing adventures, and access to 16 golf courses within 10 miles of the property.
Ashore Oceanfront Hotel is managed by Stonebridge and was purchased in 2022 by a joint venture between an affiliate of Certares Real Estate Management LLC, affiliates of Monomoy Property Ventures LLC, and Highlands Investments LLC.
