At London Fashion Week, street style showcased bold looks and pops of colour | Canada Voices

18 September 20262 Mins Read

There was a buzz in the air around 180 The Strand, the main hub of London’s spring/summer 2027 fashion week, as journalists and photographers gathered for the start of the festivities.

Passersby showed no shortage of stylish, contemporary looks. Take Chan Kai Lap Dean’s effortless ensemble, with a pop of colour from a red Jacquemus check bag.

A short while later, it was time to head to the Maximilian Raynor show in Russell Square. This is where things really came alive among the crowd of attendees. Couples co-ordinated in subtle, intentional ways while still honouring their individuality. Hironori Tada and Maliki Ando – the latter wearing a baseball cap that read “Running late” – exuded a modish Saturday morning casual.

In addition to the bold looks that turned heads, there was plenty of inspiring understated dressing. Trends from day one included silver shoes (think Wales Bonner silver Adidas Samba sneakers) and pops of colour such as yellow.

From the Strand to Russell Square, Marylebone to Knightsbridge, these street style looks spoke to the aliveness of London’s fashion scene this season.

Attendees at the Harris Reed presentation showcased demi-couture and sculptural pieces.

As another Mark Fast showgoer proved, all-black will always be in style.

Maximilian Raynor attendees Ella Eyre and Gabriele Uboldi showed off their individuality.

Also spotted at the Maximilian Raynor show: on-trend browns and metallic finishes.

Louisa Wilkie showed off a Charlotte Simone ensemble outside of The 180 Strand.

At Mark Fast, a summery dress in denim blue by Sarah Regensburger and a yellow Chopova Lowena croc detail jacket stole the show.

These three added pops of personality with their footwear choices.
