Burger King Is Releasing a Brand-New Dessert That's Exploding With Flavor

Burger King will soon release a new pie that’s “exploding” with flavor: the Firecracker Cookie Pie.

On Wednesday, May 13, food blogger Markie_devo took to Instagram with a sneak peek of a limited-time menu coming soon to the fast-food chain.

The Firecracker Cookie Pie will reportedly feature a cookie with vanilla filling and topped with star cookie and dough pieces, as part of the America 250 celebration.

Reportedly, the new offering will drop nationwide on June 2, although Burger King has not officially confirmed the release date.

The reported pie is unlike any dessert BK currently has on its menu, with the only pie option currently being the Hershey’s Sundae Pie.

In the comments, many followers were intrigued by the Firecracker Cookie Pie. One Instagram user wrote, “The pie looks promising.”

A second confessed, “Don’t even like Burger King like that, but damn does that firecracker pie look good.”

Someone else lamented a missed opportunity, writing, “Damn it. I was hoping the firecracker pie would have popping candy.”

A different follower pointed out, “That pie lookin 🔥.”

Followers echoed these sentiments over on Facebook, with one follower exclaiming, “Ummmm, Firecracker Cookie pie! Sign me up.”

“I’m excited for the pie,” yet another echoed.

Meanwhile, others were still salty over not being able to try the limited-time SpongeBob-themed pie—the Star-berry Shortcake Pie, inspired by Patrick Star—for a collaboration that debuted at the end of last year, timed to The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants film.

One snarked, “If you can find them, never got to try the SpongeBob pie.”

A second demanded, “Bring back Patrick’s pie.”

Someone else bluntly stated, “F*** that. Bring that SpongeBob pie 🥧 back.”
