Cambridge House, Auberge Collection is accepting bookings ahead of its Feb. 1, 2027, opening at 94 Piccadilly in London.
Reuben Brothers and Auberge Collection plan to open Cambridge House, Auberge Collection in a Grade I-listed Georgian mansion at 94 Piccadilly, the former “In & Out” Naval and Military Club. The property is part of Reuben Brothers’ £1 billion regeneration of 1.3 acres of the Piccadilly Estate.
The 102-room hotel and residences will be located between Green Park and Shepherd Market. Jean-Louis Deniot is overseeing the hotel and guest spaces, while Laura Gonzalez is designing the bar, wellbeing facilities and a members club. The members’ club is due to open later in 2027.
The 2nd Earl of Egremont commissioned the central Georgian mansion in 1756, and it was later associated with the Duke of Cambridge. The building has served as a townhouse and clubhouse. It hosted Queen Victoria and served as Lord Palmerston’s proxy for 10 Downing Street during his time as prime minister. The Naval and Military Club occupied the property from 1865 to 1999.
The hotel’s restaurant will be Major’s, a new concept from Major Food Group. The restaurant will occupy Cambridge House’s restored Georgian ballroom and courtyard. Its menu will include British ingredients, seafood towers, caviar service, and meat, fish and game. The bar’s drinks list will include 10 martini variations, and the restaurant will have a wine program.
Cambridge House will also include a three-floor wellbeing area with hydrotherapy facilities, a heated swimming pool, six treatment rooms, a circular relaxation lounge with a fire pit, a gym, studios, wet and heat rooms, and a bathhouse.
Restaurants, bars and private rooms at the property will be available for events.
The opening will be Auberge Collection’s first hotel in the United Kingdom. The company opened Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Collection in Florence, Italy, and The Woodward, Auberge Collection in Geneva in 2025. It also lists Domaine des Etangs, Auberge Collection in France and Grace Hotel, Auberge Collection in Santorini, Greece, among its European properties.
Auberge Collection will also open The Knox, Auberge Collection in Dallas in 2027. Earlier this year, it launched Auberge Safari, comprising nine properties in Tanzania.
Rates at Cambridge House start at £1,250 on a room-only basis. Reservations are available from April 1, 2027.
