Rozsa Horizons of Arts Leadership is a cohort-based training program designed to empower experienced arts leaders. Focused on cultivating readiness for change, the program blends expert presentations, peer learning, and practical application, enabling leaders to explore pathways to organizational innovation and transformation, and equipping them to lead with vision, compassion, and adaptability in a shifting arts landscape.

Upon successful completion of the Rozsa Horizons of Arts Leadership (Horizons) program, you will be able to:
• Demonstrate values-driven leadership in a complex environment
• Cultivate and sustain adaptive, resilient teams with care
• Navigate contemporary leadership challenges including ethical AI integration and strategic communications
• Analyze challenges and opportunities within your organization
• Lead mindful innovation and risk-taking to drive sustainable organizational growth

Who should apply? Arts professionals in senior leadership positions at an organization (Executive or Managing Directors, General Managers, Senior Directors) and others poised for leadership.

When is Horizons? Friday, November 6, 2026 to Friday, June 4, 2027

Horizons takes place in Calgary in five two-full day sessions with a total time commitment of approximately 80 hours over 8 months, including both contact and self-directed hours. Sessions will occur in November, January, March, April and June.

Apply by Friday, August 7, 2026.

For more information and to apply visit rozsafoundation.com/horizons

Horizons Tuition Cost: Between $750-$2,000, depending on the budget of the applicant’s affiliated organization.

*The Rozsa Foundation acknowledges that systemic barriers to equity exist when it comes to the Training application process and program experience. We also recognize that the tuition fee may present a barrier to participation. We invite you to email Director of Training, Samantha MacDonald (samantha@rozsafoundation.com) and we will discuss options to provide additional or alternative support that suits your individual needs.
