Former General Hospital star Evan Hofer took to social media to tease an exciting new chapter.
Hofer, who played Port Charles police department officer Dex Heller, took to Instagram to post new photos of himself along with the tease “Come back tomorrow,” to excite fans.

Fans immediately took to the comment section to share their thoughts and opinions. “Looking forward to tomorrow ❤️,” shared one viewer. “I’d LOVE for you to ‘come back tomorrow,” added a second. “Dam, I miss you not being on General Hospital.😢 Love the pictures of you, you a handsome guy, just saying. 😍” added a third.

Hoffer starred on the ABC soap opera from May 5, 2022, until his exit on December 13, 2024, appearing in over 220 episodes, when his character was tragically killed off after suffering a post-surgery heart attack, when Cyrus (Jeff Kober) gave him an overdose of digitalis.
The move to write Hofer out was described to Soap Opera Digest at the time to be “storyline dictated,” which proved to be the case as his death served as a catalyst for the direction of his on-screen girlfriend Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) storyline trajectory, as the ramifications and fallout shifted her perspective ultimately leading to her newfound career as an agent for the World Security Bureau (WSB).
Since leaving General Hospital, Hofer appeared on the first season of 9-1-1: Nashville.
Evan’s professional acting career began in 2010 with an appearance on the TV movie Everyday Kid in 2010, before having a six-episode stint on the Disney XD series Kickin’ It between 2011 and 2013.
Evan would then appear in various series and movies in guest roles before appearing in over 30 episodes of Dwight in Shining Armor prior to booking General Hospital.
Little is known about what Hofer could be teasing, but the actor’s IMDb profile teases two upcoming projects: We’re Bad at This and Living the Dream.
