Conferma Announces Oracle Integration to Enhance Corporate Travel Payments

New integration will streamline corporate travel payments, with Thon Hotels leading adoption.

Conferma, a global leader in virtual payments for business travel and Oracle partner, has announced its latest property management system (PMS) integration with Oracle OPERA Cloud, enabling secure, automated corporate travel payments for thousands of hotels and corporations globally.

By sending virtual card payment instructions directly to the PMS, via the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP), the solution eliminates many manual processes, reduces likelihood of errors, and helps keep sensitive data secure – delivering a smooth experience for hotels and guests.

The new integration leverages Conferma Connect Direct to deliver virtual card and payment instructions securely via API to OPERA Cloud, Oracle’s widely adopted property management system (PMS), used by over 30,000 hotel properties worldwide.

Thon Hotels, one of Norway’s leading hotel chains, becomes the first hotel group to take advantage of the integration, reinforcing their commitment to delivering a streamlined experience for corporate travellers.

“At Thon Hotels, we are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. By adopting Conferma’s integration with OPERA Cloud, we’re removing friction from the payment process and giving our corporate guests the convenience and security they expect,” said Kjetil Smette, CEO of Thon Hotels.

Why it matters now
Corporate travel is accelerating, and expectations have evolved. Travellers want speed and security, hotels need streamlined operations, and enterprises demand visibility and compliance. This integration delivers:

  • For hotels: Instant access to payment information, helping reduce admin burden and likelihood of errors.
  • For travellers: No upfront spend or payment uncertainty — just a smooth check-in.
  • For enterprises: Complete visibility for reconciliation and VAT reclaim, while enforcing travel policy, reducing likelihood of fraud and off-programme spend.

Driving industry-wide transformation

As virtual payments continue to rise in popularity, especially within corporate travel, the demand for secure, automated payment solutions is stronger than ever.

With 88% of businesses already using or planning to adopt virtual cards[1], hotels face growing pressure to deliver consistent, secure payment experiences. By connecting directly to Oracle Hospitality’s PMS, Conferma enables hotels like Thon to directly respond to market demand while improving internal processes.

“Corporate travel is evolving, and payment processes must keep pace,” said Stuart Davenport, Chief Product Officer at Conferma. “Our integration with Oracle Hospitality removes complexity for hotels and travellers alike, delivering automation, security, and visibility at scale.”

Conferma Connect Direct: secure automation at scale

Conferma Connect Direct delivers virtual card details straight into a hotel’s PMS via secure API — no emails, no manual entry. This means faster check-ins, fewer errors, and stronger security. Hotels gain real-time visibility for compliance and reconciliation, while guests enjoy a frictionless experience from booking to arrival.
