The assessment of the current market situation in tourism purchasing has improved slightly again at the end of the year.

The Global Travel Buyer Index (GTBI) is an industry indicator for tourism purchasing and is published quarterly by consultancy Dr. Fried & Partner in cooperation with ITB Berlin. It is based on a quarterly survey of international buyers from the ITB Buyers Circle. The index provides insights into the current market situation and the expectations of tourism buyers, serving as an early indicator for the development of the travel market. The latest results of the GTBI show that expectations among international travel buyers are rising significantly.
