Daniel Caesar announces massive new world tour with a stop in Toronto, Canada Reviews

1 April 20262 Mins Read

Fresh off a major weekend at the 2026 Juno Awards, Daniel Caesar has announced the Son of Spergy Tour, a new arena run across Asia and North America in support of his latest album! This includes a hometown stop for the Toronto-born singer at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

The newly announced tour is a 30-date run that starts in Asia in May before moving into North America in July. Toronto is the first Canadian arena date on the North American leg, which also includes stops in Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver.

Bonus: Caesar will be joined by Faye Webster for the Toronto performance!

Caesar’s tour news lands right after a huge showing at this year’s Juno Awards, where he won Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year for Son Of Spergy and Songwriter of the Year. The Scarborough native was also awarded the International Achievement Award, which honours successful Canadian talent who have raised the profile of Canadian music around the world, and puts him alongside past recipients like Shawn Mendes, Drake, Alanis Morissette and Céline Dion.

The “Call on Me” singer has become a major voice on the R&B scene over the past decade (yes, he’s been around that long). His breakthrough hit single “Get You” was released way back in 2016, and was the lead single for his breakthrough album, Freudian, which reached double platinum certification in Canada and platinum certification in the U.S.

You might remember his smooth R&B vocals from 2021’s “Peaches”: this chart-topping collab with fellow Canadian Justin Bieber debuted at No. 1 internationally and became one of the most-streamed songs of the year.

Caesar’s most recent release, Son of Spergy, debuted in the top five on the Billboard 200 and at No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Album Chart, marking his highest-charting body of work to date.

How to get tickets to Daniel Caesar’s Son of Spergy Tour

As for tickets, artist presale and VIP packages presale begin on Thursday, April 2 at 10 a.m., while the Front Of The Line Amex presale starts at 12 p.m., followed by Live INSIDER and Spotify presales at 2 p.m. The general sale opens on Friday, April 3, at 10 a.m. You can sign up for the various presale times through your Ticketmaster account.
