Dog the Bounty Hunter Pretended To Knock Out the Easter Bunny: ‘No Warrants. Just Eggs and Candy'

Dog the Bounty Hunter (real name: Duane Chapman) is finding a little humor this Easter holiday.

The reality star, who appeared on reality series including Dog the Bounty Hunter, Dog and Beth: On the Hunt, and Dog’s Most Wanted, made the best of his visit to the Easter Bunny with a fun series of staged photos that show him pretending to take down the furry friend amid his mall setting.

“🐰🚨 THE EASTER BUNNY ALMOST GOT BOUNTIED 🚨🐰 Rolled up and caught this one lurkin’… big ears, bright colors… thought he could blend in. I stepped in close — told him straight… you can run… but you can’t hide. Checked him out. No warrants. Just eggs and candy. Lucky day, bunny. 😂🤙🏼,” Chapman captioned the photo set, which ended in the duo posing together happily.

What Happened to Dog the Bounty Hunter’s Stepson?

While Chapman’s Easter post was all humor, it’s been a challenging year for the reality star. His stepson, Gregory Zecca, was arrested in February after a six-month-long investigation into the death of his 13-year-old son, Anthony, NBC News reported.

In an update on Facebook, Florida’s Collier County Sheriff’s Office shared a statement that Zecca accidentally shot his child while under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. He was later charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child with a firearm and using a firearm while under the influence, the post noted.

After the child’s death, Chapman shared a statement with TMZ and expressed his tremendous grief.

“We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible, tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony,” Chapman and his wife, Francie, said.

Expressing His Love for Chuck Norris

After the death of beloved star Chuck Norris, Chapman took to Instagram to share a touching post in his honor.

“Chuck was the real deal, strong, disciplined, and a man of faith. I respected him greatly. He impacted me more than people know, the way he carried himself and stood firm stayed with me. I honor him and I’m grateful for all he gave.

We are praying for his family and his loved ones. Aloha brother ❤️🤙🏼,” Chapman wrote.
