Dusit International has signed hotel management agreements for two new-build ASAI Hotels properties in Southern Thailand. ASAI Hat Yai is scheduled to open in 2028, and ASAI Patong Phuket is planned for 2029.

ASAI Hat Yai will be located on Samchai Road in the city centre of Hat Yai, a commercial and tourism hub in Southern Thailand. The hotel will offer 116 guestrooms, including options for solo travellers, couples, families, and groups. Facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant, café and bar, co-working spaces, meeting facilities, and a fitness centre.

ASAI Patong Phuket will be situated in the centre of Patong, approximately five minutes from Patong Beach and about one hour by car from Phuket International Airport. The hotel will feature approximately 85 rooms, a ground-floor café and social space, a rooftop swimming pool, and fitness facilities.

The ASAI Hotels brand debuted in Thailand with ASAI Bangkok Chinatown in 2020, followed by ASAI Bangkok Sathorn and ASAI Kyoto Shijo in Japan. The brand’s pipeline includes additional properties in Malaysia and the Philippines. ASAI Gamuda Cove in Malaysia is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2026 within the Gamuda Cove township near Kuala Lumpur. The brand is also set to expand to the Philippines with ASAI Oslob Cebu in late 2027 and ASAI Camaya Coast in late 2028.

ASAI Hotels is one of nine brands under Dusit Hotels and Resorts. As of the first quarter of 2026, the portfolio spans 19 countries with 50 hotels and approximately 237 luxury villas under Elite Havens. More than 50 Dusit Hotels and Resorts properties are in the pipeline worldwide.
