'DWTS' Pro Daniella Karagach Powers Through Wardrobe Malfunction to Nail Dance With Husband Pasha Pashkov

Daniella Karagach is a pro on and off the Dancing with the Stars ballroom floor.

Over the weekend the dancer performed with her husband, and fellow DWTS pro Pasha Pashkov, at the Manhattan Dance Championships. And while their number started off flawlessly, mid-dance Karagach’s shoe began to become undone.

Without missing a step, the dancer made the split decision to take her shoe off mid-move, toss it to the side, and complete the number without her heeled footwear — forcing her to be on her tip-toes on one foot to balance for the remainder of the performance.

“The show must go on,” she captioned a video of the routine, where she named the dance, “The one shoe tango.”

Naturally, the post’s comments were filled with praise from both fans and her DWTS peers.

“Insane!!” Dylan Efron, her Season 34 partner wrote. “At the very end when you finally go off your toes you drop down like 6 inches lol.”

“I’m impressed,” commented DWTS pro Alan Bersten. “I can’t even take my slippers off that fast haha”

“Heck yeah baby!!! You’re a beast,” Emma Slater added.

Fans of the show also referred to her by her nickname, “The Ferrari,” in the comments.

“Every Ferrari needs a good set of tires,” one said, while another added, “Ferrari changes tires in style.”

While this moment was definitely not planned, Karagach has become known for her choreography that goes viral — on purpose, of course.

Dancing with Efron in DWTS‘ most recent season, the duo made waves with a move during their Tango to “Ain’t No Sunshine” where The Traitors star held her in a horizontal position and she proceeded to move as if she was walking on air. The move was then aptly named, “the Air Walk.”

“It was so musical to just like pedal my feet, and then we kind of just tried it and it worked,” she said of the move in a November DWTS interview alongside Efron.

The move went on to be recreated on TikTok and Instagram from fans, DWTS pros, and even by her and Pashkov’s daughter Nikita.
