Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita has appointed Gregory Viaud as general manager following a seven-month transformation of the property.
Viaud joins the Mauritius property from Four Seasons Hotel Rabat Kasr Al Bahr, where he was opening general manager and led the hotel’s launch in Morocco’s capital.
A graduate of Vatel Nîmes Hotel and Tourism Business School in the South of France, Viaud began his Four Seasons career at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane in 2004. He later spent eight years at Four Seasons resorts in Bora Bora, Bali and Maui, followed by Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.
His subsequent roles included positions at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center and Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. He was later appointed opening general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Rabat Kasr Al Bahr.
Viaud takes the role after a seven-month transformation at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita. The work included changes to the resort’s all-pool villas and residence rentals, the introduction of dining concepts and enhancements to OSEYAN Spa.
His focus includes the resort’s connection to Mauritius, its local community, Mauritian culture and guest experiences on the island.
