Grand Theft Auto 6 fans just learned that what is seen cannot always be unseen — but it sure may raise questions. Such is the case after GTA 6 leaker, Cyberleek, unleashed a raunchy 24-minute video on Thursday where over half the runtime was dedicated to co-protagonist Jason Duvall exploring Leonida in the nude. Fans are still debating what, exactly, they saw in the unexpected new GTA leak and how much of it can be trusted.
The original video is no longer accessible on the links that first proliferated on Oct. 8, but the footage is still viewable — the content is hosted on a decentralized platform, so it cannot be easily removed from circulation. About 10 minutes into that footage, Cyberleek cuts away from the motorbike gameplay and loads a buck-naked Jason into the game. The gameplay continues like that for another 10 minutes, during which Jason’s uncircumcised penis is fully in view.
Can you play GTA 6 naked?
You’d think this gameplay would suggest GTA 6 is fully playable while nude, but fans aren’t so sure. Early on, Cyberleek somehow makes a military tank appear on the map. The tank floats above a waterfall until Jason shoots it, at which point it falls to the ground. Did Cyberleek use a tank cheat? That was possible in older Grand Theft Auto games, but developer Rockstar Games eschewed tank cheats in Grand Theft Auto 5. GTA 6 seems like a more grounded game than others in the series, so a cheat list seems dubious. The other possibility is that Cyberleek has access to a GTA 6 dev kit or debug menu.
“Doesn’t some of it seem a little suspicious?” one fan wrote on Reddit.
One circumstantial piece of evidence is the NPCs. Throughout recent previews, Rockstar has repeatedly emphasized how much work the studio has put into making NPCs behave in realistic ways. NPCs in the video don’t seem to react at all to Jason being nude; they only seem to care if Jason actively antagonizes them. Fans are also raising their eyebrows at Cyberleek’s cutscenes. The game is obviously programmed to display the characters in cutscenes exactly as they are played, but would Rockstar truly allow nudity during pivotal story moments?
Recent ratings establish that GTA 6 features both sex and nudity. A new IGN report also described viewing Jason in the shower — but the camera angles keep Jason’s privates out of view. All of these bits of information suggest that, while entertaining, Cyberleek’s gameplay may not reflect a playable experience. These inconsistencies could explain why the weapon animations don’t account for nudity, and why some of the gameplay is in first-person — which Rockstar hasn’t confirmed as a feature.
Does GTA 6 have dick physics?
On the other hand, fans couldn’t help but notice the level of care and detail evident in Jason’s genitalia. Much like the infamous “horse balls” in Red Dead Redemption 2, Jason’s nether region seems to have physics. Jason’s penis shifts and moves around as he does. Did Rockstar program these details for the co-protagonist, or is Cyberleek somehow loading the character in with the body of GTA 6‘s nudists?
“I wonder if Jason’s balls will also change according to the temperature,” one fan mused on Reddit.
Fans don’t know what to make of these strange details, but what they do know is that many of them have had enough of where that came from. Cyberleek is currently hosting a poll for the next bit of footage to post, and it includes an option to see Jason take on a side quest while naked. Fans are begging one another not to vote for that choice. Right now, options for watching Lucia on a side mission or with third person gameplay are leading the vote. A hilarious 3% of the votes are going against the grain and spending real-world dollars to see more of Jason’s dong. As they say, the heart wants what it wants.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is slated for release on Nov. 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
