Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG Hotels & Resorts have announced a new human trafficking prevention training curriculum, available at no cost to the hospitality industry throughout 2026.

Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG Hotels & Resorts have jointly introduced a comprehensive human trafficking prevention training program, available to independent hotel owners, operators, and brands across the hospitality sector at no cost through 2026. This marks the first collaboration among the three companies on a training initiative focused on human trafficking prevention.

The updated training was developed in partnership with Protect All Children from Trafficking (PACT) and Unboxed Training & Technology. The curriculum is survivor-informed and uses live-action video storytelling. It will be available in English and Spanish on PACT’s website for industry use.

PACT will serve as the training administrator, providing subject-matter expertise based on survivors’ experiences. Unboxed Training & Technology contributed to the learning design, working with the companies to create a scalable, multilingual program aligned with industry standards. Participants in the training will receive technical support, scheduled reminders to encourage completion, and a certificate upon successful completion.

The training will be featured alongside existing industry training launched by Marriott International, which has been completed more than 2.6 million times by industry employees since 2020.

The collaboration is part of the AHLA Foundation’s No Room for Trafficking (NRFT) initiative. All three companies are represented on the NRFT Advisory Council, which helps shape anti-trafficking efforts and survivor support within the hotel industry.

The launch of this training follows a series of advocacy and awareness events conducted throughout January in recognition of Human Trafficking Prevention Month. The training is intended to provide the industry with a resource as it prepares for large-scale events in the U.S. in 2026.

Industry members can access the training and additional information at courses.wearepact.org/preventing-human-trafficking.
