BWH Hotels has opened the 128-suite @HOME by Best Western McDonough, a five-story extended-stay hotel at 34 Liberty Industrial Parkway in McDonough, Georgia.
The newly constructed property is the first @HOME by Best Western hotel to open in Georgia and the Southeast. It is located off Interstate 75 at Exit 216 in an area south of Atlanta that includes logistics, industrial and distribution facilities.
Raj Patel and Apsilon Hotels developed the hotel. Apsilon Hotels oversees 18 Atlanta-area hotels, including the Best Western Plus Atlanta Airport-East and Best Western Plus Fairburn-Atlanta Southwest.
The hotel has 128 suites with kitchens and workspaces. Amenities include community areas, a lobby market, a fitness center, guest laundry facilities and on-property storage closets for guests to store personal items outside their guestrooms.
The property offers complimentary self-parking, including wide-berth spaces for large trucks and RVs, plus EV charging and pet-friendly accommodations.
The hotel provides access to regional commerce centers, including more than 80 million square feet of industrial and distribution facilities and Norfolk Southern’s corporate training facility. Historic Downtown McDonough, Heritage Park and Atlanta Motor Speedway are also nearby.
The McDonough hotel is the second @HOME by Best Western location to open in the United States, following the brand’s debut in St. George, Utah. The brand also recently opened a property in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada.
A second Atlanta-area @HOME by Best Western property in Fairburn, Georgia, also developed by Apsilon Hotels, is slated to open in 2027.
