Ireland Baldwin, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, is a tattooed beauty on the red carpet while celebrating the Oscars.

Baldwin, 30, showed off her tattoos and curves in a chic black dress with a high slit on the thigh while attending the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 34th Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday evening. The young mom, who boasts the same blonde hair as her movie star mom, mugged for the camera while working the press line.

Baldwin frequently shows photos of her legendary mother, Kim Basinger, enjoying life as a grandmother. The actress, who is known for films like L.A. What Has Ireland Baldwin Said About Her Childhood?

Earlier this year, Ireland Baldwin reflected on growing up as the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger on her Substack page. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a very joyful childhood.

“I grew up without two parents in my home and no siblings to turn to. I had a lonely childhood at times, which is why I grew up feeling like I needed to win over certain people in my own family,” she wrote in a post titled “30, Flirty, and Surviving.” “For whatever reason, their validation and praise was meaningful to me.”

As she looked forward to turning 30, Baldwin said there was a “lot less weight” on her shoulders, largely because she let go of “the need to continue to carry my narcissistic, unreliable, addict family members who I thought I needed in my life.”

Baldwin didn’t note which family members she was speaking about here. However, she certainly has plenty of famous faces in her family. In addition to her famous parents, her cousin is Hailey Bieber, and her uncles are Billy Baldwin,Danny Baldwin, and Stephen Baldwin.

 “Nothing was more freeing than finally realizing how poisonous these people are,” she continued. “So I inch into my thirties with an understanding that this is how you break these cycles. My daughter doesn’t have to know these people and I can protect her from them. I can do my very best to construct my own idea of a family, piece by piece. And show how a real family treats one another.”
