Lopesan Hotel Group has opened three new resorts in Punta Cana: Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort Spa & Casino, Lopesan Serenity Bay Spa & Casino, and Lopesan Splash Cove Spa & Casino. The launch adds over 1,000 new rooms to the company’s Dominican Republic portfolio, bringing its total presence in Punta Cana to four resorts, including the existing Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino.
The resorts were designed in collaboration with HKS Architects and its hospitality design division, ROAM. The development features water-inspired architecture and nature-focused design elements, with each resort introducing distinct features and amenities.
Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort Spa & Casino is a 554-room property with a 127-meter-long lagoon pool, cenote-inspired design elements, and 10 waterfalls. The resort includes the Lopesan Convention Center, which can accommodate more than 2,000 attendees for meetings, conferences, and events.
Lopesan Serenity Bay Spa & Casino is an adults-only resort with 239 rooms, exclusive dining venues, tranquil pool environments, and spaces designed for a more intimate guest experience. Guests have access to the larger Lopesan complex’s dining, entertainment, and nightlife offerings.
Lopesan Splash Cove Spa & Casino is a family-focused resort with 242 rooms, featuring a wave pool, water park attractions, sports programming, and entertainment for multigenerational guests.
The three resorts are connected by The Boulevard, an open-air promenade with restaurants, cocktail bars, nightlife venues, shopping, entertainment, an 820-seat theater, and a casino, serving as a central hub for guests across the integrated resort campus.
The project is expected to create approximately 700 jobs during the initial opening phase, with more than 1,100 positions anticipated once the complex reaches full operational capacity.
