Lore Group, the hospitality company known for its international portfolio of luxury hotels and dining destinations (including Pulitzer Amsterdam, One Hundred Shoreditch, and Sea Containers London), announces the appointment of Kristie Rasheed as Managing Director, U.S. Hotels. Rasheed will oversee Lore Group’s U.S. operations, specifically for Riggs Washington DC, Lyle Washington DC and Hotel Park Ave NYC, with a focus on operational performance, financial strategy, and delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout the domestic portfolio.

Rasheed joins Lore Group with more than 20 years of experience driving revenue, profitability, and operational performance for luxury hotels, resorts, and vacation rental portfolios. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Operations at Olympia Hospitality, where she oversaw a portfolio of over 40 hotels, including independent properties alongside Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott brands.  In the role, she led a regional team across operations, food and beverage, and facilities, partnering closely with property owners and asset managers to strengthen financial performance, support acquisitions and transitions, and drive operational excellence across the portfolio.

Prior to Olympia Hospitality, Rasheed served as Managing Director and General Manager of The Dewberry in Charleston, South Carolina. During her tenure, she oversaw the hotel’s operations and overall business performance, guiding the luxury independent property through continued growth while strengthening its guest experience, financial performance, and market position. Rasheed has also held senior roles with Destination Hotels and Resorts and Wyndham Vacation Rentals, where she developed extensive expertise in revenue optimization, business strategy, marketing, sales, property transitions, and construction across resorts and hotels nationwide.

Kristie brings a rare combination of operational expertise, commercial instinct and an understanding of what makes independent hotels successful,” said David Taylor, CEO of Lore Group. “Her ability to build strong teams, grow businesses and lead hotels with their own distinct identity makes her a natural fit for Lore Group. As we continue to develop our portfolio, Kristie will play an important role in shaping its future, building on the strengths of our people and preserving the individual character that makes each of our hotels special.”

In her role as Managing Director, U.S. Hotels, Rasheed will lead U.S. hotel operations, fostering brand excellence and strengthening operational performance while preserving the distinctive character of each hotel. Her focus will include ensuring financial performance, upholding standards of service and hospitality, and leading independent properties to success by building best in-market operations, commercial strategy, and financial optimization teams.

“I’m honored to join Lore Group and to drive the continued growth of Lore Group’s U.S. hotel portfolio,” said Rasheed. It’s my goal to bring a thoughtful balance of operational rigor and entrepreneurial energy to the team, while staying deeply focused on our people, our guests, and the unique character of each hotel. Lore has an incredibly strong foundation and a bold vision for hospitality, and I’m excited to help translate that vision into exceptional experiences, sustainable profitability, and continued growth.

Rasheed holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina and is a Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME). She has also held leadership positions within the hospitality community, including serving as President of the Charleston Hospitality Association and on the Board of Directors for the College of Charleston’s School of Hospitality and Tourism. She was recognized by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) as Revenue Management Executive of the Year for North America.

Rasheed will be based out of Washington, D.C.
