Love Island USA’s first vote of the season kicked off on June 9, 2026, but it was once again hit with its fair share of frustrations. Users across various social media platforms expressed their disappointment after they pulled up the official Love Island USA App to vote, but many were left frustrated and unable to cast their vote.

Viewers were given the chance to vote for who they wanted to see the latest three bombshells couple up with.
Voting opened at 10:30 PM, an hour and a half after the episode dropped on Peacock, and stayed open for 2.5 hours.

But when viewers tried to pull up the app and get their vote in, they were met with frustration: despite being registered before the event, the app sent them back to registration, then showed a “network error” when they requested a code.

“Guys, guys, guys. 8 seasons and y’all still haven’t spent budget on more servers 😒. But I’m seeing Gabriel’s tongue in 8K,” wrote one frustrated user on X (formerly Twitter).
“So can y’all extend the voting time because it still isn’t working for a lot of people 😭?” asked another.
Here are some things you can try if the Love Island USA app is glitching for you during the vote.
Force close the app
One thing that viewers found helpful was to close the application completely and then reopen it. This established a fresh connection to the server, and the latest ‘update’ pushed in.
Switch from cellular data to Wi-Fi.
