M Social Hotel Sunnyvale, a 263-room property in Sunnyvale, is taking reservations for stays beginning in December 2026.
M Social Hotel Sunnyvale will be located in a mixed-use development with access to a man-made lake, a Sunnyvale city landmark. The property is near Highway 101 and San José Mineta International Airport.
Designed by BDE Architecture and Mazzarini & Co., the hotel will use communal spaces rather than a formal lobby. Those spaces will include lounge seating, flexible gathering areas, collaborative workspaces and areas for informal interaction. The property will feature views and sightlines that connect interior areas to the surrounding setting.
The hotel is being built to LEED Gold standards and will include energy-efficient systems. Digital features will include mobile room keys, self-service check-in kiosks and robotic service assistants. Guests will also have access to Aiello, an in-room AI personal assistant for requests, recommendations and real-time assistance.
M Social Hotel Sunnyvale will have 263 guest rooms and suites for business travelers, extended-stay guests and leisure guests.
Food-and-beverage venues will include Beast & Butterflies, ctrl+B(ar) and Byte+Hub Market. Beast & Butterflies will be a restaurant, while ctrl+B(ar) will offer coffee, cocktails, California wines and light bites. Byte+Hub Market will operate as a self-service grab-and-go outlet. The hotel will also have a rooftop beehive.
The property will include approximately 28,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The 6,600-square-foot Quantum Ballroom will have 20-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a 12-by-40-foot LED video wall. The venue is intended for conferences, launches, celebrations and other events.
Meeting facilities will include 75-inch vibe boards with digital flipchart, video-conferencing and screen-sharing functions. A staging suite will be available for speaker preparation, bridal staging and event operations.
Additional meeting spaces will include The Hub, which can be configured for breakout sessions and training, and The Grove, an outdoor courtyard for receptions, networking sessions and evening gatherings. The Commons will provide 10,000 square feet of outdoor space for activations and community occasions.
