By order of the Peaky Blinders, the Shelbys are back. Academy Award winner Cillian Murphy reprises his iconic role as Tommy Shelby in this feature-length film continuation of the beloved British series, the first expansion beyond the main series, which will soon be joined by a sequel series now in production. This is its Netflix premiere following a couple of weeks that the movie has now been in theaters and reportedly, has done quite well there.

Set against the backdrop of World War II in 1940, the movie sees Tommy return from a self-imposed exile to face his most formidable challenge yet. The explosive new chapter, penned by series creator Steven Knight, features a star-studded cast including new additions Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Barry Keoghan alongside returning favorites.

The Creator (2023)

Coming to Netflix: Friday, March 20th

Fresh from its inclusion in our list of the best new movies on Netflix for the month comes The Creator, a visually stunning and thought-provoking sci-fi action film. Directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla), the movie is set in a future where a war rages between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence.

John David Washington stars as Joshua, a hardened ex-special forces agent recruited to hunt down and kill the mysterious architect of advanced AI who has developed a weapon powerful enough to end the war—and mankind itself. When Joshua discovers the world-ending weapon is an AI in the form of a young child, he is faced with a moral dilemma. The film, which also stars Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, and Allison Janney, received praise for its ambitious original story, breathtaking visuals, and emotional depth, earning two Academy Award nominations for Best Visual Effects and Best Sound.
