Nancy Guthrie News: Latest Update Includes a Change to Her Personal Facebook Account

A change has been made to Nancy Guthrie‘s personal Facebook page. As we enter the fourth week that Guthrie, 84, has been missing, the comments on Guthrie’s Facebook account have been turned off. It’s not clear when the change was made, but Parade can confirm that the comments on the public-facing page were open, and people were commenting on her posts as recently as two weeks ago.

It does not appear as though anything else has been changed on Guthrie’s account. The things that she shared still seem to be the same as when she first went missing. Her account has not been made private and any photos and videos that she’s shared over the years are still visible.

It’s unclear who made the change and when. As for the reason why, it’s more than likely to stop strangers from writing comments, positive, negative, or anything in between.

Guthrie has been missing since Sunday, February 1. Authorities believe that she may have been abducted from her home in Arizona in the middle of the night. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI have been working diligently to find Guthrie and the person or persons responsible for her disappearance. So far, there haven’t been any leads that have led to an arrest.

Guthrie’s family, including daughters Savannah Guthrie and Annie Guthrie, and her son, Camron Guthrie, have spoken out on their mom’s possible kidnapping. They released two videos in which they spoke directly to a would-be kidnapper and asked them for proof of life.

As of Sunday, Feb. 22, it has been six full days since Savannah, who is best known as an anchor on NBC’s Today, has spoken out about her missing mom.
