Natasha Casillo Appointed General Manager at JW Marriott Nashville

Natasha Casillo has been named General Manager of JW Marriott Nashville. In this role, she will oversee all aspects of hotel operations.

Casillo is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University’s Hotel and Restaurant Management program and began her career at the Boston Marriott Cambridge. She held leadership positions at Boston Marriott Copley Place and later served as Director of Rooms at Hotel Commonwealth, where she was involved in the property’s $55 million expansion. Casillo also worked as Premium Team Lead at British Airways, managing VIP and premium travel experiences, and subsequently joined InterContinental Boston in senior leadership roles.

In 2017, Casillo joined Turnberry Associates, leading the pre-opening and ongoing operations of Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown/North Station as General Manager. During her tenure, the property received industry recognition, including the Boston HSMAI General Manager of the Year and Marriott’s Hotel Opening of the Year Award in 2018.

JW Marriott Nashville, located at 201 8th Avenue South in downtown Nashville, features 533 guestrooms, including 37 suites, and offers 79,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Facilities include a 15,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom and The Green at JW, a 17,000-square-foot event lawn. Dining options include Bourbon Steak by Chef Michael Mina and 888, a Japanese vinyl listening lounge and dining concept.

The property is within walking distance of Bridgestone Arena, Lower Broadway, Nissan Stadium, and The Gulch. JW Marriott Nashville officially opened in July 2018. Turnberry is the owner and operator of the hotel.
