New Toronto med spa aims to reimagine natural beauty with innovative treatments

10 February 20265 Mins Read

Looking for a Toronto med spa that enhances your natural beauty instead of altering it? Stop searching and start booking at the city’s newest skincare spot in the heart of King West.

TOULA is a new kind of medical spa that’s making its mark with a preventative and results-driven approach to patient care.

Promising a curated service menu and experience that’s led by an expert team, TOULA is all about providing tailored care and stunning results without the major downtime.

Here’s what to expect.

Technology-driven facials and enhancements

TOULA’s high-tech facials are powered by an industry-leading multi-modality skincare device offering ultrasound, microcurrent, diamond-tip microdermabrasion, lymphatic drainage, oxygen spray and even multi-colour LED light therapy.

Patients also have the option to enhance their facial experience with either Dermaplaning to exfoliate and smooth their skin or organic sheet masks for further customization.

The majority of TOULA’s bespoke facials are designed with results in mind: thoughtfully set at 50 minutes to give each modality the time it needs to truly benefit your skin and wellbeing. Treatment names and protocols are intuitive and skincare concern-oriented — leaving you glowing, refreshed and visibly revitalized.

Personalized care sits at the core of every TOULA treatment, ensuring clients feel that they’re in expert hands. In fact, this philosophy is one of the main motivators on which TOULA was founded.

“We wanted to build a different type of skincare studio destination that prioritized empathetic patient care and a results-driven treatment experience. One which embraced prevention, natural-looking results, efficacious skincare ingredients, and a stigma-free community,” said Hannah Nguyen, practice manager at TOULA.

TOULA offers a four-tiered membership program with a six-month commitment designed to deliver noticeable improvements to your skin health with consistency of care. Each plan includes at least one high-tech facial per month, a complimentary facial for a friend, and member pricing on products and other treatments.

Expert-led injectables

TOULA’s injectables menu has been thoughtfully curated to deliver what clients value most: natural-looking results with little to no downtime.

TOULA’s lead nurse, Megan Phillips, says: “My philosophy is the most beautiful results are the ones that look entirely your own. Years of studying art and anatomy have taught me to focus on quiet refinement — restoring balance, structure, and vitality without ever masking individuality.”

Dermal fillers, for example, are all about refinement and less about dramatic changes. These can help enhance natural beauty by restoring lost volume, softening creases, and subtly enhancing facial features.

Sculptra is a biostimulatory aesthetic injection that jump-starts your own collagen production to help smooth wrinkles and improve skin tightness.

Meanwhile, Neuromodulators — commonly known as ‘wrinkle relaxers’, such as Botox and Dysport — are used to preserve natural expression, while softening lines. They are increasingly being used preventively to treat wrinkles before they form.

Microneedling

Want to boost your skin’s texture and fade stubborn scars or stretch marks? TOULA will soon be offering microneedling services with the advanced DemraPen4. This bad boy is the world’s fastest microneedling device, and creates 1,920 micro-channels per second for better results.

Microneedling works by stimulating natural collagen and elastin production to reduce wrinkles, minimize acne and surgical scars, lighten stretch marks, shrink pores, and even skin tone. It’s safe for all skin types, including aging and sun-damaged skin, so everyone can enjoy radiant results in just a few sessions.

Guest experience

The entire TOULA experience centres around science-backed care and expert service, from the minute you enter the clinic to the second you leave.

Every visit begins with a personalized consultation, where you and TOULA’s experts will discuss your goals and assess your skin in depth. It’s a safe place where information is shared, recommendations are made, and stigma is gone.

As a complimentary service during each consultation, TOULA uses an advanced skincare analysis machine originating from South Korea — widely regarded as one of the most advanced countries in the world for skincare innovation and technology. This device precisely measures your skin’s unique biomarkers through what’s called “multispectral imaging.”

With a highly informed view of your skin health — UV spots, skin tone, elasticity, wrinkles and texture — TOULA’s estheticians perform the high-tech facial most suitable for you and personalize your visit according to these biomarkers.

The clinic space

To help create an immersive space, TOULA engaged the award-winning design firm, Studio Author, to reimagine the traditional spa experience. The result was an intentionally designed clinic environment that feels less clinical and more like a modern retreat.

That means each of the rooms (playfully named “coves”) comes with a cozy bed, full-size and LED-lit mirrors, handpicked finishes and arched ceilings. By exuding warm and inviting vibes, the clinic intends to be a transportive oasis that makes you feel instantly at ease.

Start your skin journey with TOULA

Personalized skincare is no longer hard to find in Toronto, thanks to TOULA’s unique approach. Whether you’re exploring injectables, microneedling, high-tech facials, seeking expert advice, or just want a med spa you can trust, TOULA might just be the answer.

It’s now open seven days a week, with hours stretching to 8 p.m. on weekdays for a post-work pampering.

To celebrate the opening, TOULA is offering blogTO readers $100 towards their first facial and $100 off their first injectable visit with a spend of over $400. And making it even sweeter, the first 25 members to sign up will receive a lifetime discount. Book your appointment today!
