Nobu Hospitality Announces Nobu Beach Inn and Residences on Barbuda’s Southwest Coast

Nobu Hospitality has announced new details for the Nobu Beach Inn, a hotel and residential development located on 400 acres and two miles of beachfront on the southwest coast of Barbuda.

Nobu Beach Inn will feature 36 bedrooms across 17 individual villas, a beach club, oceanfront pool, indoor and outdoor spa, kids club, outdoor cinema, two tennis courts, two padel courts, and a gym pavilion. Dining options will include an oceanfront grill featuring local catch and an omakase sushi bar. The single-story bungalows will be constructed with natural, sustainable materials and connected by sand pathways. Construction is scheduled for completion in late 2026.

The property will feature a water sports center with dinghy sailing, waterskiing, and kiteboarding. Sailboats and motor yachts will be available for sunset cruises, beach picnics, fishing trips, scuba diving excursions, and trips to neighboring islands. The site will also host visiting wellness practitioners, DJs, fitness experts, and chefs.

The development will include 25 beachfront residences, each consisting of four- or five-bedroom beachfront bungalows connected by pools, gardens, and pathways. Owners will have access to all amenities and services of Nobu Beach Inn, and may include their homes in the resort’s rental program. Residences start from $12 million USD.

Nobu Barbuda, a restaurant and lounge on Princess Diana Beach, opened in 2020 and is located within the same area as the new development.

Burton Nibbs International Airport in Barbuda opened in October 2024, providing direct private jet access and inter-island transfers. V.C. Bird International Airport in Antigua offers non-stop flights to and from North America and Europe. Nobu Beach Inn is accessible from Antigua by a ten-minute helicopter transfer.
