Peak Design’s latest bags have clever integrated hooks

4 August 20262 Mins Read

Peak Design’s new City Line collection includes six lightweight bags designed for everyday carry. There’s a 15-liter and 22L City Backpack, 15L City Tote, 6L and 12L City Crescent crossbody bags, and 2L City Sling. All are available starting today and feature a new BagLev hook that can suspend the bags from a table ledge or chair to keep them free of cafe sludge and park filth.

The bags are available in a variety of colors — I’m a a fan of the natural “Moon” (whiteish) color, which will benefit from the BagLev hook. The vibrant “Lapis” blue color is definitely a choice.

“Rather than adding more features, Peak Design refined every material, seam, pocket, and silhouette to create bags that feel lighter, cleaner, and easier to use,” reads the press release. “City Line feels effortless to carry, easy to organize, and delivers the delightful features Peak Design is known for.”

All the bags are constructed using Peak Design’s new lightweight and weather-resistant MonoShell material, with lots of clever pockets to keep all your gadgets and gear organized and accessible with easy to pull zippers or quick-access magnetic closures. There’s even a dedicated pocket to keep tracking devices like Apple AirTags hidden. All the bags feature clean lines that don’t sag or scream look at all my storage possibilities!

These bags don’t come cheap, however. $179.95 for the City Backpack 15L or $199.95 for the 22L version; $159.95 for the City Tote 15L; $89.95 for the City Crescent 6L or $119.95 for the larger 12L version; $69.95 for the City Sling 2L.

Updated, August 4th: Added pricing and video embed.
