‘Person of Interest’ Heading to Netflix in International Regions in March

Long before the world was debating the ethics of Artificial Intelligence, Jonathan Nolan (Westworld, Fallout) gave us a terrifyingly prophetic look at a world ruled by algorithms. Now, the cult-classic series Person of Interest is booting back up on Netflix.

We have learned that the complete five-season run of the CBS drama—which evolved from a procedural into a hard sci-fi epic—is part of the latest wave of Warner Bros. Television licensing deals.

We can confirm that Person of Interest will arrive in select international territories on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026.

This is yet another Warner Bros. Television pickup for Netflix in recent months, with a significant ramp-up in licensing in the US and internationally since the acquisition deal was announced in late 2025. March will also see the series The Mentalist drop in select international regions.

Premiering in 2011, the series begins with a simple premise: a reclusive billionaire genius named Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) has built a supercomputer for the government known as “The Machine.” It was designed to predict terrorist attacks, but it also sees everything else—including ordinary crimes involving regular people. Deemed “irrelevant” by the authorities, Finch recruits a presumed-dead ex-CIA operative, John Reese (Jim Caviezel), to help him intervene and save lives before the crimes take place.

J.J. Abrams was one of the series’s executive producers, and it remains highly regarded today.

The series features one of the most beloved ensembles in sci-fi history:

  • Jim Caviezel as the suit-wearing vigilante John Reese.
  • Michael Emerson (Lost) as the enigmatic creator Harold Finch.
  • Taraji P. Henson (Empire) as Detective Joss Carter.
  • Kevin Chapman as the corrupt-cop-turned-hero Lionel Fusco.
  • Amy Acker as the chaotic genius Root.
  • Sarah Shahi as the lethally effective Sameen Shaw.

Where can you stream Person of Interest?

This rollout covers several major English-speaking and international markets. Confirmed regions receiving the show include:

  • United Kingdom
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • Latin America (including Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico)
  • Select European territories like Italy

Netflix US is not currently set to see the show return. As you may remember, Netflix first picked up the rights in the States in 2015, with seasons 1 through 3 added, and the remaining two seasons added later in 2016. The series would leave in full in September 2020. Right now, the show is streaming on Prime Video.
