Raffles Hotels & Resorts plans to open its first alpine resort in Courchevel 1850, located in the French Alps, in collaboration with Art de Vivre as developer and owner. The resort is scheduled to open for the 2028 winter season.
Located within the Jardin Alpin precinct of Courchevel 1850, the property will feature 50 guestrooms and suites, many with private balconies and views across the Tarentaise Valley. The resort is being designed by JMV, with interiors by Humbert & Poyet, and will be positioned near dining, cultural, and social venues in Courchevel 1850.
Amenities will include multiple dining spaces, such as a signature bar, a tea lounge, and two restaurants with winter gardens and terraces. The resort will also offer a spa with treatment rooms, thermal experiences, a fitness center, and a panoramic swimming pool. A program for younger guests focused on nature, sport, and wellbeing is planned.
Raffles Courchevel will be the brand’s second property in France, joining Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, and its sixth hotel in Europe, alongside locations in London, Paris, Warsaw, and Istanbul. Raffles Lake Como is scheduled to open in 2027.
Courchevel 1850 is located within Les Trois Vallées, the world’s largest interconnected ski area.
