Rosewood Hotel Group has introduced a global parental leave policy establishing a minimum of 16 weeks of fully paid, gender-neutral parental leave for eligible associates, effective January 1, 2026, across its international portfolio.
Rosewood Hotel Group will implement a Global Parental Leave Policy providing a minimum of 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave for eligible associates worldwide, effective January 1, 2026. The gender-neutral policy applies across all job levels and pathways to parenthood, including birth, adoption, surrogacy, and other medically supported means, wherever legally permissible.
The policy covers mothers, fathers, non-birth partners, and diverse family structures. It supplements local statutory parental leave entitlements by ensuring that, where local paid leave is less than 16 weeks, eligible associates receive a top-up to 100% of base pay for at least 16 weeks. In markets where statutory benefits exceed the new global minimum, existing local provisions will remain in place.
The standard will be implemented across Rosewood Hotel Group’s corporate offices and properties worldwide. The policy is intended to support associates during significant life milestones and reinforce equitable workplace practices. It is set to become a permanent component of Rosewood Hotel Group’s global benefits framework.
The policy is subject to local legal requirements and will be applied wherever legally permissible. It is designed to address challenges related to parental responsibilities and career continuity in the hospitality sector.
